Today I am happily retired from salon ownership and a full-time schedule from behind-the-chair.

My career in the professional beauty industry began in London, England where I worked as a stylist’s assistant. Today, after 40+ years in the beauty  industry, I am a Vidal Sassoon Trained Master Hair Stylist, Certified Framesi Hair Color Educator, and previous owner of both an award winning salon and a set of suite salons.

In 1995 I opened Topps SalonDay Spa and closed it in 2011.

In 2013 I founded Swans Studios Boutique Salons For Men and Women and closed it on Setember 1 2023. 


In my retirement I am availble one-day a week  at 936 B Clay Street, Oakland inside the historic Swans Market, by appointment only. You can see my detailed hours on the About Me page.
